Would You Risk Friendship for Love?

Nothing makes life any sweeter than having someone you can call a bestfriend. Someone you can totally be comfortable being yourself. Someone who makes your joys more memorable and share with your burdens to make it more bearable. You spend couple of hours talking on the phone, you enjoy being together talking about your dreams, desires or just silly things or just plainly chilling out.

But sometimes complicated things may happen when your bestfriend is of opposite sex, Because you spend a lot of time together it's inevitable that one day you'll just realize that your falling for someone you consider your bestfriend. If you happen to be in that situation, it's a great dilemma to deal with. Would you be frank enough to tell him/her what you really feel and put your friendship on a risk of falling apart or would you rather keep it to yourself and have all these “what if's” for the rest of your life.

Me, personally I don't know the exact answer to this question. But one thing I am sure of, that honesty is still the best policy. If you're not quite sure what to do, just be honest enough to show how you fell and honest enough to say what's in your mind (promise, it will save you a lot of effort pretending that there's nothing going on). Don't be in a hurry to make things happen, just enjoy the time being together and the joy that your friendship brings you. Anyway, destiny knows how to find its ways, if your really meant for each other, it will happen in time. Cherish every moment being together because happiness is isn't found at the end of the road but along the way.

And to end this, let me share you these words:
Fall but not stumble;
Be consistent but not persistent;
Give but don't expect something in return;
Understand and don't demand;
Share but don't count;
You might get hurt but never keep the pain.
